Great Service, Fast, and Reasonable Shop Rates
My experience with this business was not so great. When you call them you almost always get the same person which is nice. I had them put a used transmission into my 97 silverado for about 700 dollars. The transmission was supplied by me so no warranty. They got it done in good time and the experience was pretty good so far. But 2000 miles after it was replaced the trans went out again so i brought it back and they said it needed a full rebuild for 1600. I declined and planned on putting another used trans in myself. When i started taking it out is where i found problems. All of the 15mm bell housing bolts were finger tight and the 4 front driveshaft bolts were loose also. Not saying that this is why the trans went out. But what i got from this was either the did a carless job because i didnt go with a trans they would warranty, or that the mechanics they had do the work were just that bad. When i call them politly to address the issue the pretty much said i shouldnt have tried to "cheap out" with a used transmission and that they didnt know how the bolts got loose. Also there was a bunch of other problems in the drivetrain that any experienced mechanic would have noticed. They did not tell me about any of these problems.
