Fair amount of camp sites, beach shoreline, and nice view of the lake. The veterans memorial is nicely done.

This is a very nicely done Veterans Memorial on the shore of Lake Kampeska. This is situated in a city park with a playground, green spaces, a sandy beach for the lake, and bathrooms. There is also an adjoining Campground which the wife and I love to stay at. Plenty of parking for you, whether here for the memorial, park, or lake.
